Publishing Party

I just wanted to remind everyone that our Storyline culmination/publishing party is Thursday, December 15, at 1:30.  Students will be reading a piece of their writing in front of the audience and, most importantly (in the eyes of your children), there will be snacks at the end.  Invitations will be sent out later but I wanted you to be able to get it on your calendars.  We hope you'll be able to make it!

Just to make things fun for the class, I am initiating a new lottery drawing.  Each Friday kids will be able to use their Morgan bucks and purchase lottery tickets.  I will draw from the tickets and the winner will be able choose the background for our classroom blog.  We should get some pretty interesting backgrounds :)

Just wanted to give everyone a quick update.  The family dance that is scheduled for November 18, has been canceled.  It will be rescheduled for sometime in February.

Math Homework

Our math homework is now on the site.  There is week one and week two, since the homework is for a two week period.
